The installation process comprises several stages, including the preparation of shop drawings, submittal packages for customer review and based on project size the assignment of project managers or job foreman. Experience has shown that a hands-on approach is essential for our installers to stay within cost guidelines, consistently meet deadlines, and meet our own high standards; management regularly visits job sites to provide project continuity, approval of changes, or resolutions to questions which arise during the installation. The Project Manager stays involved in each project to act as a liaison between our installation crew and the customer. The primary responsibilities of the project manager are:

  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in a job to ensure members are working together effectively.
  • Manage all phases of a job to ensure a smooth installation.
  • Coordinate submittals and approval with Local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (such as building inspectors).
  • Ensure that equipment needed for a job is staged in a timely fashion.
  • Make sure that any installation labor is scheduled appropriately and that properly skilled technicians are scheduled according to job needs.
  • Work with subcontractors to confirm that their portions of the installation are scheduled appropriately.
  • Coordinate resolution of any outstanding issues identified on a post-installation "punch list”.
  • Participate in preparation and review of “as-built” documentation to confirm that it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Complete a formal in-service orientation meeting with clients at the conclusion of the project.

All eNSS employees involved in the engineering, design, sale, installation, documentation and maintenance of security systems hold Permanent Employee Registration Cards (PERC) as required by the state (225 ILCS 446/80).
